Kiddie City Child Care Community

 Come grow with Kiddie City! Located in Euclid, Kiddie City is a Step Up to Quality center. Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Kiddie City serves children 6 weeks through school-age.  As a USDA food program site, they offer a nutritional breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. They also provide infant food and formula!

Universal pre-K, a preschool program through Cuyahoga County’s Invest in Children, has partnered with Kiddie City to offer discounted preschool rates for qualifying Cuyahoga County residents.  They also partner with CEOGC Head Start to provide a quality educational experience for children.  Kiddie City accepts vouchers from both Cuyahoga and Lake counties.

Lawrence School's Alphabet Adventures program is strategically designed to give preschool and kindergarten-aged children a structured literacy approach to help improve alphabet knowledge, pre-reading skills, and phonemic awareness. Highlights of the program include small group and individualized instruction, multisensory methods, and evidenced-based strategies – all taught by teachers trained in Orton-Gillingham methodology.

Each class lasts for an hour and a half and new students are admitted throughout the school year. Flexible scheduling includes a pay-as-you-go structure with classes offered twice a week ($25/class) and on Saturday mornings ($35/class).  All sessions are held at Lawrence Lower School, which is located at 1551 E. Wallings Road in Broadview Heights.

 At Hershey, classrooms are called “communities” where students work in multi-age groups so they can learn from and interact with others of diverse ages and interests.  These programs include the Parent-Infant Program (2 months to 12 months), the Young Child Community (12 months to 36 months), Children’s House (3 to 6 ½ years), Elementary (6 to 12 years) and Adolescent Community (12 to 18 years).  Students are given blocks of uninterrupted time to figure out a problem, to ask questions of their teachers, or share their passion for a subject with another student. Horizon Child Development Center

Kreative Kidz Childcare Center

Kreative Kidz Childcare Center is a new childcare center in Downtown Painesville.  They are located right off the square at 41 E. Erie St. around the back of the building.

Serving families with children 6 weeks to 12 years, they are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.  Kreative Kidz's teachers have experience working with children in a variety of settings—preschool, daycare, and private homes.  They also have current certification in first aid/communicable disease, infant/child CPR, and child abuse recognition and prevention.

  • Preschool is for children that are 3 years old before September 30.  This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning or afternoon.  The child's first independent school experience emphasizes the joy of learning!
  • Pre-kindergarten is for children that are 4 years old before September 30.  Two options are offered.  The three-day class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the morning or afternoon.  The four-day class meets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the morning or afternoon.  Along with kindergarten readiness, these enriching programs nurture social-emotional development.

Willo-Hill Christian School

YMCA Child Care East End Y

The East End Y Child Care offers full-day care for children ages 3–5 and part-day preschool.  They encourage children to develop at their own pace while learning and developing healthy, trusting relationships and building self-confidence.  Their programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services.

School age care is available for kindergarten through fifth grade students enrolled in the Madison Public Schools.  Their program is filled with activities for kids to explore and develop their interests and talents.  Children learn and grow during swimming, gym time, outdoor play and homework time.

YMCA Child Care Central Y

The Central Y Preschool Child Care accepts 3- to 6-year-olds for full-day care.  Their instructors help kids discover who they are and what they can achieve through activities that build athletic, social and interpersonal skills in a safe, nurturing environment.
Their Broadmoor School care program provides after-school care and full-day care during the summer to children with unique, individual needs.

They serve Painesville City Local Schools students with a variety of before- and after-school programs and activities to explore and develop their interests.  Children gain confidence about themselves and their abilities through homework time, gym/outdoor play, table games, swimming, and other field trips.  These programs are state licensed.

YMCA Child Care Y Child Care Center

YMCA Child Care/West End Y
