The Lake County YMCA is thrilled to announce the return of its much-anticipated annual tradition, the 2023 Lake County YMCA Turkey Day 5k.

This year's event promises a morning filled with fun, fitness, and a sense of community that's perfect for individuals and families alike.  Run or walk the race with family and friends!  If you are heading out of town, we have a virtual options for you!

The event will take place Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Central YMCA located at 933 Mentor Avenue in Painesville.  The race starts at 8:30 am.

The Turkey Day 5k is a celebration of health, togetherness, and gratitude, bringing the Lake County community and beyond together to kick off Thanksgiving Day with a burst of energy and festivity.  Families and friends are encouraged to join and create lasting memories together.

Don't forget to wear your most creative and festive turkey-themed outfits and accessories!

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!  Awards will also be presented to the top male and female finishers in various age categories.

Registration is now open, and participants can sign up online at lakecountyymca.org.
