Rock The House
Annual Fundraiser for Extended Housing

Extended Housing’s annual fundraiser has undergone a few changes over the years. For many years, it was known as “The Gong Show” and featured some of the area’s talented musicians, singers and dancers, including the Unknown Comic, who performed each year wearing a paper bag over his head (one wonders whatever happened to him)!

A few years ago, the event was renamed “Oktoberfest” and guests attended wearing dirndl skirts, braids and lederhosen. This year, event planners have chosen a rock theme and guests will be encouraged to come dressed as their favorite rock star or rock band and compete for some great prizes.

“Rock the House” will be held from 5-11 p.m., Friday, October 20 at Normandy Party Center in Wickliffe. For $55, guests will receive a delicious sit-down dinner with dessert and open bar. Ricky and the Rockets will perform and in between eating and dancing, guests can purchase chances for raffles, a prize wheel, spirit table and sideboards.
