Milestones Autism Resources, a local autism organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum, is hosting its 6th annual Strike It Big bowling extravaganza to support local families affected by autism. The entire community is invited to attend this family-friendly event, which will take place on Sunday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Spins Bowl in Independence. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support Milestones’ free Autism Helpdesk, a service which allows families to contact professional staff for personal guidance, local resources and individualized information at each and every stage of their child’s development. The fun-filled event will feature face painting, balloon artists, a raffle and more.
