This Halloween, try a Goodwill ‘Costume Creation Station’

Oct 03, 2016 01:02PM ● By Today's Family
Goodwill encourages anyone celebrating Halloween to visit its retail stores for a wide selection of new, donated, and vintage Halloween costumes and decorations.

New this year are “costume creation stations,” which are in every local Goodwill store. (For a locations listing, visit www.GoodwillGoodSkills.org). These stations have everything you need - separated and organized – to make a variety of adult and kids’ costumes inspired by these themes: superheroes, monsters, sports, witch, vampire, animal, decades, pirates, clowns, historical, wedding, and more!

Additionally, all stores carry a selection of brand new merchandise, including costumes, wigs, masks, makeup, hats, home décor, spooky flair and webbing – all in original packaging and priced lower.

Why visit an expensive Halloween pop-up shop when you can find everything you need for Halloween at Goodwill?” said Ken Weber, Goodwill’s president & CEO. “Plus, shopping at Goodwill means job creation in our local community,” he continued. Funding from Goodwill’s retail stores goes toward supporting Goodwill employment and life skills programming throughout its ten-county territory.

After Halloween, Goodwill encourages everyone to donate their gently used Halloween costumes and décor. Right now, there is an urgent need for housewares, Halloween or otherwise. Please consider donating dishes, cookware, vases, art, small appliances, and other household items today.
