Parents and caregivers, start a positive reading habit and join the 21-day reading challenge at Perry Public Library.  Reading aloud plays a vital role in a child's brain development, cultivating the language and literacy skills necessary for school readiness and success.  Read aloud to or with your child for 15 minutes for 21 days during the month of  October.  All children completing the challenge will earn a free book!  Kids ages 0-12 are eligible to participate.  Pick up your challenge sheet at the children's desk starting Friday, September 29.  The last day to pick up your free book is November 3.
