“The new plush and comfortable seating will be installed in every one of our 10  theaters at Eastgate.  Luxury seating is already available to guests at our Diamond Center and Great Lakes Stadium locations,” said Gabriel Saluan, vice president of Atlas Cinemas.  “Installation will be complete by spring and in plenty of time for this year’s summer blockbusters.”

As the largest, independently-owned theater chain in northeast Ohio, Atlas Cinemas has always been on the forefront of technology to give their customers the best theater experience.  It became one of the first theaters in the area to introduce digital projection and Real D digital 3D.  Then in 2012, all the Real D systems at all locations were upgraded to the enhanced Real D XL making 3D pictures brighter, crisper and more dynamic.

Eastgate 10 by spring will also be equipped with advance digital ticketing that allows customers to bypass the box office.  With online reservations, guests can choose their movie and time, pick their seats and go right to the concession stand when they arrive instead of waiting with crowds at the box office.

“Online reservations are great for date night or a group of friends.  You can get tickets hours or even days ahead of time so you know your group will be sitting together rather than take a chance with general admission,” said Saluan.

The new renovations at Eastgate make it an ideal place to host a birthday party, corporate meeting or large group event in 2019.  All events can be customized to your individual needs and pricing varies per package offerings and group size.

Atlas Cinemas is also excited to announce that they have recently taken over the Shaker Square Cinemas.  The six-screen, stadium seating theater will soon be getting upgrades to its sound systems and concession area, and the entire complex will get new and freshly painted color schemes as well as new tile flooring.
