Car tickets cannot be purchased separately.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.ymcadreamhouse.org.

The Lake County YMCA 2019 Dream House, built by ProBuilt Homes, Inc., is 3,400 sq. ft. of rustic modern farmhouse beautifully decorated by a team of local designers.  The house features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, study, great room, lower level home theater and fitness room, and a two-car garage.  There will also be a unique STEAM room for children and families to engage in activities that blend the traditional STEM subjects with artistic and creative elements.

Kerry Bliss, design coordinator for the Lake County YMCA 2019 Dream House said, “This year’s house has something for everyone in the family.  The innovative STEAM room for children to develop critical thinking through science, technology, engineering, arts and math has countertops perfect for experiments.  The lower level home theater, smoothie bar and Y-sponsored fitness room is great for any active family while the great room, kitchen and outdoor spaces are ideal for gatherings, large or small.”

At 7 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, twenty semi-finalists will be chosen from all tour ticket stubs purchased for the Dream House and 10 semi-finalists will be chosen from the tickets for the Chevy Camaro drawing.  Semi-finalists will be notified by phone and by mail and invited to the final drawing at 2 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

Since 1993, the Lake County YMCA Dream House has provided more than $5 million (approximately $200,000 per year) which has helped the Y strengthen our community by bringing about meaningful change through resources that enrich lives. Annual proceeds from the project enhance the Y with facility and equipment improvements for the more than 46,000 members and program participants at each of its branches.

Dick Bennett, executive director and CEO of the Lake County Y commented, “Strong communities don’t just happen, they’re the result of steady leadership and stewardship of strong values.  For more than 150 years the Lake County Y has been investing in our kids, our health and our neighbors to ensure everyone has access to opportunities to be healthy, confident and connected.  From athletics, to education, to health services, to safe spaces, the Y fills the gaps where society falls short.  Every person invested in the Dream House understands the impact the Y has in strengthening our communities.”
