Great Lakes Mall opens “The Yard”
Great Lakes Mall, Mentor’s family friendly shopping destination, announced the opening of The Yard, a new community gathering place and play area featuring traditional family-friendly games like cornhole, ping-pong, oversized chess and more.
“Our goal is to create experiences beyond shopping,” said Kate Miller, marketing director of Great Lakes Mall. “Our work at Great Lakes Mall is part of our long-term focus to reinvent the retail experience for our guests. As part of this reinvention, we continue to add community gathering spaces including The Yard, The Hub and numerous family-friendly events and activities held at Great Lakes Mall.”
Guests can lounge in the area surrounded by lush turf grass and take in the sights and sounds of the center or play games like oversized Jenga or giant Connect Four. The Yard is free to the public and open during mall hours.
