Mar 30, 2020 01:57PM ● By Today's FamilyDear Friends,
We
are pleased to present this special edition of Today's Family. Inside you will find info related to the current pandemic. Topics include how to
talk to your children about the coronavirus, ideas to have virtual
birthday parties for kids whose birthdays will be affected by the
current quarantine and social distancing recommendations, and a
reflective piece from Mommy Chronicles writer Stacy Turner.
Although they are temporarily closed right now, The Fairmount Center for the Arts in Russell Township and the Mandel JCC in Beachwood have great programs and camps that you can learn about and plan for once all this madness over.
Read about Pinwheels for Prevention and National Child Abuse Awareness Month. Sadly, this situation will continue and possibly worsen during the pandemic. If you suspect child abuse in a home, please call child services immediately!
This issue also features our annual Preschool Guide, the top baby names for 2020 and some silly jokes to hopefully bring a smile to your face during these unique times.
