Third generation Cleveland dentist joins Lyndhurst orthodontist practice
After more than 10 years away from home, Dr. Jordan Roth is thrilled to have returned to his hometown of Cleveland to start his career. Born and raised in Cleveland, the Orange High School graduate attended Emory University in Atlanta where he earned his undergraduate degree and continued on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top of his class. Roth then earned his orthodontics and master's degree in a three-year residency program at Columbia University in New York City.
Growing up in Cleveland, Jordan knew the wonderful reputation of Dr. Marc Fried, a beloved orthodontist practicing for over 35 years and the founder of Smiles by Fried. Many of Jordan’s friends were treated by Dr. Fried and loved their experience, with the office's dedication to clinical excellence, five-star service, and an outstanding patient experience. Jordan spent years shadowing Dr. Fried and knew he had found an amazing fit. The two doctors formed a great relationship and mentorship and officially joined forces on August 1, 2019 as Fried & Roth Orthodontics.
Dr. Roth is so excited not only to be joining an outstanding practice, but also to continue in his family’s dentistry legacy. The third generation of Cleveland dentists, Jordan follows in the footsteps of his late grandfather, Dr. Lawrence Meckler, and his uncle, Dr. Stanley Meckler who currently practices on the west side of Cleveland.
It has been a very exciting and eventful first year of practice for Dr. Roth. Fried & Roth’s first year has brought a successful business partnership, an office remodel, and an extensive sterilization upgrade to ensure that the office is prepared to continue practicing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. During this year, Jordan also married Lauren, who he met during residency in New York, and they adopted a cavapoo puppy named Henry. Lauren’s grandfather is also a retired orthodontist currently residing in New York. The couple had a beautiful wedding at the Shoreby Club in July 2020.
Dr. Roth brings the finest training to treating both children and adults as they progress through traditional fixed braces and clear aligner therapy, such as Invisalign. He continues to further his education and training by being a part of local study clubs, Alpha Omega dental society, Cleveland Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Roth is an avid Indians, Browns, and Cavs fan. He enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking, biking, skiing, and golfing with his family and friends.
