Micro grant opportunity for kids with awesome ideas to spread kindness

Senders Pediatrics is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Bee K.I.N.D. (Kid, Initiated, Nice, Deeds) Grants. Ten children, ages 6-13 in northeast Ohio, with awesome ideas on how to spread kindness in their school, neighborhood and community will be awarded $75 micro grants. Senders Pediatrics hopes to fund projects that encourage and spread kindness from one individual to another and can be easily replicable.  The goal of the initiative is to empower children to see that no act of kindness is too small and that their individual acts of kindness add up and can have a big and meaningful impact on the world around them.

“Children who learn to treat others with kindness can carry these values throughout their lives,” said Senders Pediatrics parent coach and educator, Joan Morgenstern. “We believe acts of kindness have ripple effects—in short, kindness is contagious.  Our goal is that this grant opportunity will encourage kids to spread kindness within their schools and neighborhoods.”

Deadline to apply for the grant is Friday, January 28, 2022.  Grant winners will be notified on February 7, 2022.  For details and application form, visit: https://tinyurl.com/kindgrants or contact Joan Morgenstern at 216-291-9210 ext. 153.
