The Fine Arts Association presents The Who’s Tommy

The Fine Arts Association presents The Who’s Tommy as its final production of the 2022-23 theater season.  Based on the iconic 1969 rock concept album, Tommy is an exhilarating story of hope, healing and the human spirit.  The production opens on June 9 and runs through June 25, 2023.

This classic rock opera follows Tommy Walker, a young boy who is left “deaf, dumb, and blind” by a family tragedy.  Tommy also encounters physical abuse by family members which increases his self-imposed disabilities.  Despite all of this, he gains widespread fame as a pinball wizard. Tommy includes many unforgettable songs such as “I’m Free,” “See Me, Feel Me,” and “Pinball Wizard.”

“The Who’s Tommy is an amazing rock musical filled with drama and traumatic experiences but ultimately it is about human connection,” added Eugene. “We all want to be seen, heard, and especially loved.”
