Wiffle ball tournament to be held for families impacted by childhood cancer
Carter’s Mommy and Daddy will love him forever and miss him terribly. They decided soon after his passing to establish a foundation in his memory to ease the burden of children and their families battling cancer.
“Wiffle Bowl,” a wiffle ball tournament fundraiser, will be held on Saturday, August 17 at Town Hall Park in Concord. The event will feature food trucks Pitmaster Dad and King Kone, music by DJ Fredimak, family-friendly entertainment, a special guest, and a home run derby for all ages!
Teams of three (3) to five (5) players can register in one of four (4) different age divisions. A limited number of sponsorships are available.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Carter Nedley Foundation, which since 2010 has served families impacted by childhood cancer and provided funding to improve patient experience at Cleveland Clinic Children's, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.
