Autism Speaks presents the 2025 Cleveland Chef Gala
On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the Hilton Downtown Cleveland will welcome guests to the annual Cleveland Chef Gala, a signature event by Autism Speaks. This delightful evening combines food, fun, and philanthropy to benefit Autism Speaks, a North American nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Local northeast Ohio chefs will partner with one of our culinary champions, an individual on the autism spectrum, to create an inspired dish for guests to enjoy.
Autism affects 1 in 31 children and 1 in 45 adults in the United States. Throughout the past two decades, Autism Speaks has worked tirelessly to create an inclusive world for individuals with autism throughout their lifespan. The northeast Ohio community has shown tremendous support for Autism Speaks, raising over six million dollars through events like the gala to fund research, education, family services, and outreach initiatives for those with autism locally and globally.
This year, Autism Speaks will honor three individuals for their contributions to the autism community in northeast Ohio: Dianne DePasquale-Haggerty of Creative Living Unlimited, Melissa Armstrong-Brine of MetroHealth Hospital, and chef-honoree Anthony Scolaro of 111 Bistro. The organization is thrilled to celebrate these outstanding honorees for their efforts in making Cleveland a more inclusive community for individuals on the spectrum and their families.
