Waterloo Arts Fest returns Sept. 13, 2025

The 2025 Waterloo Arts Fest is set to return to Cleveland’s vibrant Waterloo Arts District, and this year it’s more kid-friendly than ever! On Saturday, September 13, 2025 from noon–7 PM, families are invited to enjoy a jam-packed day of hands-on fun, colorful creativity, and interactive entertainment — all designed with children and families in mind.

Now in its 22nd year, the Waterloo Arts Fest continues its tradition of being one of northeast Ohio’s most inclusive and creative summer celebrations — with a special focus this year on engaging young artists and their families.

Kid-centered highlights include:

  • Make & take art stations: From painting to puppet-making, kids can dive into dozens of hands-on art activities led by local artists and organizations.
  • Live performers roam the streets, engaging families with magic tricks, stilt walking, and the little ones may even encounter a life size T-Rex!
  • Giant bubble zones & sidewalk chalk gardens: Let their imaginations soar in outdoor creativity areas designed for pure fun.
  • Kids can climb and romp on the haystack mountain or build a fort with our colorful giant Pop Life Blox.
  • Quiet zone & parent lounge: A peaceful space for families who need a sensory break, equipped with seating, shade, and resources.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. A $10 suggested donation helps support the festival and its year-round arts programming.

Come discover why the Waterloo Arts Fest is one of Cleveland’s best days out for kids — where imaginations run wild and creativity knows no bounds.
