Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to host its 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, October 16 from 5–7 p.m. at the Lake-Geauga ReStore located at 34225 Vine Street, Eastlake.

This free, family-friendly Halloween event brings the community together for a safe and festive evening of fun. Families are invited to walk through a parking lot filled with creatively decorated trunks, collect treats, and enjoy an evening of laughter, costumes, and community spirit.

Highlights include:
  • Safe and festive trick-or-treating for kids
  • Free donut giveaway from Amish Door Bakery (while supplies last)
  • Music and lively Halloween atmosphere
  • Free Halloween-themed craft area for kids to get creative
  • Costume contest for children
  • Best Decorated Trunk contest
  • Full access to shop the ReStore, open during the event with unbeatable deals
“This event is about more than just candy—it’s about community,” said Chad Collins, executive director of Lake-Geauga Habitat. “It’s an opportunity for families to enjoy a safe, inclusive Halloween experience while also exploring what Habitat and ReStore have to offer.”

Local businesses, organizations, and individuals are also invited to participate by decorating a trunk. It’s a great way to promote your company and join in the fun while supporting a great cause.
