Jingle your bells! The festive spirit is about to take over Downtown Willoughby as the Miracle on Erie Street 5K Run/Walk makes its return on December 6, 2025, this year, with a new Miracle Mile added. Organized by Erie Street Miracles, a Willoughby-based charity, this event promises to kick off the Christmas season filled with cheer.

Erie Street Miracles provides hope during the holiday season. Their goal is simple, to restore faith in Christmas miracles one family at a time, by providing Christmas mornings to our neighbors in need including those uprooted by domestic violence, recovering from substance abuse, or burdened by illness.  

The race route winds through Willoughby's  neighborhoods, offering a mostly flat terrain suitable for participants of all fitness levels. Bring the whole family for photos with Santa, festive runner awards, warming hot cocoa, and more surprises.  To make the day even more festive, each runner/walker will receive two drink tickets to use in Downtown Willoughby’s bars and restaurants after the race.
