You can make the holiday season special for the babies and children at Providence House!
Providence House keeps kids safe and families together to prevent foster care placements by embracing them with support during times of crisis to help enhance stability. We've served more than 20,000 children and families across northeast Ohio since 1981 – and in the last five years, 99% of our families have stayed together!
As a local nonprofit, we are nearly 80% privately funded and rely on the generous support of our community to fulfill our mission at no cost to our families.
We have a holiday wish list full of toys and items needed to provide loving care for the children staying in our crisis nurseries and helpful holiday donation resources available at provhouse.org/holiday.

Here are a few ideas to get you started!
- Shop our holiday wish list at Amazon, Target & Walmart: We have registries at Target, Amazon, and Walmart to make it easy to find gifts and essential items for our children that can be sent directly to Providence House! You can find them all online at provhouse.org/wishlist.
- Organize a giving tree or gift drive: Your family, company, or organization can host a holiday giving tree or gift drive to benefit the babies and children of Providence House. We have all the resources you need at provhouse.org/holiday
- Host a holiday party: Ask your guests to bring a donation for Providence House instead of a host gift. You can find our Wish List at provhouse.org/wishlist.
- Give a gift in honor of family, friends, or colleagues: For donations of $20 or more, we’ll send a special holiday card featuring our children’s artwork to let them know you are supporting the children and families of Providence House in their honor.
