Return of the Butterflies at the Cleveland Botanical Garden
Beginning April 1, 2026, the popular Return of the Butterflies exhibit returns to the Cleveland Botanical Garden, inviting visitors to step inside the lush Costa Rica biome and experience hundreds of newly emerged tropical butterflies up close as they flutter among vibrant flowers. Guests can also attend live butterfly releases Tuesday through Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Families with young children won’t want to miss Caterpillar Craze on April 24–25 and May 1–2, when kids can learn about the butterfly life cycle and create their own caterpillar crafts in the Hershey Children’s Garden (or indoors in Perennial Playspace if weather requires).
