Nourishing the Neshama with Ruhama

Chef Ruhama Shitrit

Gross Schechter Day School in Pepper Pike is thrilled to welcome Chef Ruhama Shitrit, the creative force behind Ruhamasfood.com and many social media accounts for an immersive evening event. The program marks Ruhama’s inaugural visit to Cleveland, and the first time our community will experience her world-class Israeli cuisine and benefit from her “wow” energy.

Nourishing the Neshama with Ruhama will be a unique benefit for Gross Schechter Day School on Sunday, April 26 and Monday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. both evenings. The two-night appearance will allow more of our community members to experience Ruhama in an intimate setting. The programs will be identical.

Ruhama, will lead a live, high-energy culinary demonstration, blending the art of Mediterranean cooking with soulful storytelling. “I can’t wait to take you on my journey and inspire you to explore my love of Middle Eastern flavors, Israel, our homeland, and the traditions that live in every dish,” said Ruhama. Attendees can expect insider tips and tricks, reflections and meaningful connections to Israel and a chance to sample the recipes that will be on demonstration at the conclusion. An intimate pre-event reception will be available for event sponsors and VIP ticket holders.

Tickets are on sale now at www.grossschechter.org/ruhama.
