The Funny Bus Delivers Big Laughs

The Funny Bus kicked off its fifth season in Cleveland this year and is ready to provide laughs and fun for locals and visitors alike. The award-winning, 90-minute comedy/city tour of Cleveland is anything but ordinary and guaranteed to provide a good time for date nights, group activities, bachelorette parties, or corporate team building events.

The real creative engine of the Funny Bus is the talented staff of comics that are committed to entertaining guests from start to finish. With a rotating staff of four comedians, guests can expect new material and perspectives even if they ride the Funny Bus every day.

Dar’Jon Bentley
Dar’Jon is a multi-hyphenated artist from Cleveland. His talents range from acting, comedy, writing, teaching, and, depending on how many drinks, even singing. When he’s not performing, he is either at the gym or watching scary movies. Dar’Jon loves to talk about his culture, career, teaching, friends, and family. On top of seeing him do comedy, you can also see him on your TV screen as the Big Deal Dad or in your favorite regional theatre.

Sarah Vulpio
A Cleveland native who took a swing at living in the Windy City, Sarah returned to her roots to fulfill her dream of working on the Funny Bus. Off the bus, she’s busy hanging with her cats, hogging the tanning bed at Planet Fitness, and telling jokes onstage to audiences of all ages (just kidding—please do not bring your kids to her show). She will definitely make you laugh, but will also leave you wondering, “Um… is this girl okay?”

D’Jaay Brown-Johnson
Young, broke, and unapologetically gay, D’Jaay navigates adulthood by tackling the world one joke at a time, delving into the everyday struggles of growing up, juggling bills, and balancing relationships. His charm and ability to find humor in the mundane brings light to life’s darker moments, creating a connection that leaves audiences laughing. D’Jaay has won comedy contests, produced shows across Cleveland, and graced the stage at many comedy clubs including Hilarities.

Julia Mary
Julia is a relentless tornado of comedic anarchy and a fearless force of nature. When she’s not giving city tours on the Funny Bus in downtown Cleveland, you can find her doing local comedy shows, hanging out at home with her dog, or crying in a public bathroom. Some may describe Julia as “a bit much”, others would say she's “way too much” - either way she’s guaranteed to make you laugh.

Tickets on the Funny Bus are only $31 each and tours run from Wednesday through Sunday. Be sure to catch the special Halloween-Inspired Tours in October and the Holiday Lights & Laughs Tours in December.
