You will love watching your child’s excitement as confidence grows, skills develop and dreams begin to take shape at Cleveland City Dance.

Classes are designed to be nurturing and encouraging, with caring teachers who help students grow mentally and physically. Dancers ages 2 through adult can choose from ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, acro, musical theater, conditioning and more.

Students also have exciting performance opportunities through the nonprofit City Ballet of Cleveland, including the beloved Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker. Dancers may learn from visiting professionals, attend festivals, and participate in master classes and workshops with nationally and internationally recognized choreographers and instructors, including artists from Broadway productions.

Training at Cleveland City Dance can open doors beyond the studio. Dancers who have trained with Cleveland City Dance and City Ballet of Cleveland have gone on to dance with respected companies including New York City Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and have received scholarships to major universities.

Whether your dancer is taking their first steps or dreaming of the professional stage, there is a place for them.

Classes begin August 31, 2026. Dancers throughout greater Cleveland are invited to audition for City Ballet of Cleveland’s Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
