Pokémon & Planets

Where else in Geauga County can you stock up on Pokéballs, potions and lucky eggs at more than 10 fairly consolidated Pokéstops? Observatory Park is such a Poképlace, and here’s a Poképrogram to prove it. Join a naturalist to explore this International Dark Sky Park’s Planetary Trail, where all eight planets and additional interpretive areas – including four awesome, life-sized cornerstones of the Great Pyramid of Giza – will refill your bags with the stuff you need to catch ‘em all, plus two gyms if you’re feeling fierce. Activities are partially wheelchair/stroller accessible. Registration is not required – just show up and play! Naturalists will also offer additional Nature- and astronomy-themed activities, such as planetarium shows from 2 to 3 p.m. With questions, please call 440-286-9516.
