Colors of Fall Open House
Enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of autumn in northeast Ohio!
Celebrate the changing of the seasons with an afternoon of free, fun activities for the whole family. Journey through fall colors on miniature steam trains from 1 to 3 pm (weather permitting). Play games and complete other activities to learn about autumn. Hear about how wildlife prepares for the coming season during one of our wildlife presentations, and hike one of the many park trails.
Enjoy the beauty of the fall art show –“Bringing the Outdoors In: The Art of Landscapes." Landscapes by their very nature evoke a mood – from stormy to serene and delicate to dreamy. Explore how local artists have combined color, canvas and brushwork to create dynamic images of the beautiful chaos that is nature.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the many interactive exhibits and displays within the Nature Center, including the Window on Wildlife, the Halle exhibit, and more! Continue discovering native Ohio Wildlife in the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center yard. Hike the scenic trails, enjoy a picnic, or browse the Nature Store – your headquarters for binoculars, field guides, bird feeders, toys, and children’s books.
