Dark Night Sky Viewing

Come view the dark night sky through one of the largest public viewing telescopes in Ohio at Geauga Park District’s Nassau Astronomical Station in Observatory Park!

Restored and reopened to the public last year, this facility invites you to an extraordinary view of the heavens during night sky viewing from 7 to 11 pm on Saturdays, September 8 and September 22. Should weather conditions prevent sky viewing, astronomy naturalist “Astro-nat” Chris Mentrek will host a planetarium presentation at the main campus’s McCullough Science Center instead.

Nassau Astronomical Station in Observatory Park is accessed via a separate drive at 10350 Clay Street, just north of the main campus’ entrance. Registration is not required for the above listed programs.
