Free horse-drawn wagon rides through the woods of Swine Creek Reservation promise lots of seasonal fun and smiles this October, with opportunities tailored to families, couples, individuals and seniors. Wagon rides are first available, along with many more free activities, during Jump Into Fall Days on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, from 1 to 5 p.m.

The rides themselves will be first come, first served until 4 p.m., while additional family fun will include kayaking, fishing, face painting and balloon creations, a large corn box, a “Spider Spot” activity tent, a food truck, live music by the Sev & Starr Duo and more.

Plus, new this year, plan your visit for Saturday to check out a “Homespun Market,” featuring a selection of locally-produced handmade items for purchase!

Wishing to simplify your experience? Enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of autumn with additional wagon ride offerings on Saturdays and Sundays, October 12, 13, 19 and 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. Timed passes will be distributed as guests arrive for first come, first served service. Rides last about a half hour and are canceled by bad weather, with each day’s final departure at 4:30 p.m. No pets, please.
