Great Lakes Mall will be transformed into a mega resource for parents and a whole lot of fun for kids when the KidShow returns for the 22nd year on March 28 & 29.

Designed to get good information into busy parents’ hands, this free two-day event accomplishes its goal. Known as a “one-stop information shop” for everything relevant to kids and families, parents will find endless ideas and resources.

Plans are to have around 85 exhibitors on site complementing the activities and entertainment. There will be representatives from schools and sports, healthcare and wellness, home and financial, music and activities, camps and vacations, nonprofit services and organizations and everything in between.

Along with sharing information, many of the exhibitors will also be sharing interactive activities with attending families. What can you expect? Here’s a sneak peak of what you are in for: game challenges in the KidShow Backyard and OMG mobile video unit, daily bubble fun with Dr. U.R. Awesome (noon–3 pm), creative crafts and activities at the Kids Counter, hours of stage entertainment which even includes a puppy fashion show presented by Guiding Eyes for the Blind and The Posh Pet Boutique and mascots galore at Mascot Mania on the stage Saturday at noon. Mascots and costume characters will be introduced and then parade down the mall.

Keeping tradition, the goody bags are back! The first 250 families each day who register at the registration center at the top of the food court will get one of only 500 free KidShow goody bags.
