Make Music Eastlake

Free community event on Monday, June 21 • 6–9 pm

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21.  Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion.

Donald Davis and Deborah Anne will lead an interactive drumming circle to start off the evening at 6 pm.

Grant Elsing, age 12 and an area sixth grader, will then share some favorite songs while playing on keyboard and singing along.

Northern Lights, Eastlake North High School's elite a cappella group will also perform.

Paul Hagan will round out the evening’s free entertainment in the gazebo.

Individuals are welcome to bring food and enjoy an evening on the lawn, but there will also be food available from local food trucks.
