With much fun and compassion Susana (a Latina born and raised) teaches the fundamental steps to authentic AfroLatin Rhythm Dance such as Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. Basic steps and combinations are taught in order to comprehend and feel these wonderful rhythms. The workshop features authentic music from Cuba, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. Partner is not required. This workshop consists of warm ups through basic technique and conscious breathing / traveling through diagonals and/or laterals and cool off (center stretching). Comfortable shoes recommended. Ages 15+.
