War Against Breast Cancer Raffle-Auction & Vendor Show
Family fun event with 200+-item raffle-auction, two days of shopping with 40 small businesses, food trucks, princess and superhero characters, live music, Cow Patty Bingo and archery contests - all to support a breast cancer survivor.
Oct. 1: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (auction, vendor show)
Oct. 2: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (vendor show, cow patty bingo and archery contest)
RAFFLE AUCTION: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Oct. 1. Offering more than 200 quality items up for bid: Kalahari, Kings Island and Splash Lagoon passes, a flat-screen TV, scratch-off Lottery ticket tree and wreath, crossbow, a chance to win a visit with Santa Claus, a free night's stay and $100 in free spins at the Hollywood Gaming resort and many other gift certificates to family fun parks, sporting events and popular restaurants. Winners do not need to be present.
VENDOR SHOW: Two days of incredible shopping with 40 of your new favorite local makers, bakers and small business owners offerings a little bit of everything inside and outside our main building.
FOOD TRUCKS: Mijavec's Catering and Concessions and Witch City Tacos will be offering hoagies, corn dogs, tacos, nachos and more.
COW PATTY BINGO: Starts at 1 p.m. Oct. 2. Win $500 and a special Texas Roadhouse Butchers Basket if the cow leaves a gift on your space. Only 150 tickets will be sold. $10 each. Tickets can be purchased at: https://tinyurl.com/CowPattyBingo
ARCHERY CONTEST: 12:30 p.m. Oct. 2. For $5 a ticket, anyone who hits a bullseye wins free steak for a YEAR from Texas Roadhouse - Niles.
ENTERTAINMENT: On Oct. 1, princess and superhero characters from Castle on A Cloud Entertainment will entertain from noon to 3 p.m. The Ohio Crossroads band will play their traditional bluegrass sound from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Oct. 1, live music will fill the air from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with Jordan Smith on her guitar performing country and all of your feel-good favorites from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Caleb Gaul performing acoustic versions of a wide variety of music including pop, country, rock, folk and oldies from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and indie pop/folk musician Samantha Fair wrapping things up from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY VAN: 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Oct. 1. The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center representatives will offer an exam every 15 minutes. Walks-in welcome.
This not-to-miss event is a fundraiser to help Stage 4 breast cancer survivor Amanda Sharps-Martin, a nurse and mother of two boys, with her out-of-pocket medical expenses.
