Join in for game-filled nature fun as you put your mental and physical muscles to the test! From trivia to physical challenges, Nature Game Day has something fun for everyone.

Visitors can enjoy a special preview of the new Nature Trivia Night program along with many other challenges, some for cool prizes! “Our nature games might challenge you, but at the same time you’ll have a lot of fun,” says Lake Metroparks Interpretive Naturalist Tony Gazso, “We’re confident that while playing our variety of games, you’ll pick up something you maybe didn’t know beforehand.”

In addition to nature discovery through games and trivia, miniature steam train rides will be offered courtesy of the Lake Shore Live Steamers from 1 to 3 pm. Trains are weather dependent and do not run for safety reasons in inclement weather or poor weather-related conditions. Note: For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to ride the trains. All children must be able to sit in their own designated seat, lap sitting is not permitted.

Nature Game Day is free for all ages and registration is not required.
